Ballylongford.

This ruined five storied tower house built in the fifteenth or sixteenth century by O'Connor.

Three of the castle walls are complete to the parapets, from which a fine view of the Shannon can be seen, the third is totally demolished.

The northwest corner of the Bawn which originally enclosed a dock still stands.
