The Cliffs of Moher.

The spectacular Cliffs of Moher stand defiantly against the fury of the Atlantic, rising to two hundred metres (660 ft) and extending for eight kilometers about (5 miles). On the highest point of the cliffs near the visitor center is O'Briens tower, a Victorian viewpoint.

A walk along the cliff paths in the summer is a pleasant and enlightening experience, watching sea birds returning to feed their chicks on the ledges in the cliff face. In the winter the experience can range form exhilarating to frightening, and in times of high winds it is indeed very dangerous.
